The WebHelp model shows that most 'Help' documents originate as static printed text and are converted to dynamic Online Help. Some 'Help' documents originate as non-browser Windows Help or .chm HTML Help. These formats were the forerunners of WebHelp.

Note that Web-enabling 'WebHelp' allows a relatively simple conversion from either an HTML or Windows format. In WebHelp, it is also possible to quickly convert Help documents to print manuals. |
